jinder Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 When exactly does I140 or I485 become portable. If a person has approved I140, can he/she change jobs and not lose the approved I140. Can the employer still revoke I140? The GC application becomes portable 6 months after applying for i485. Is this still the same?
ashuneel Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 the employer can still revoke I140 at any stage. The GC application becomes portable 6 months ( 180 days) after applying for i485 according to AC21 act.
