ds-160 yes or no?

filling ds160 for applying us visa in canada:::

Are you applying in the same country or location where the visa above was issued, and is this country or location your place of principal of residence?          options-  yes or no

 

In my case:

1)Are you applying in the same country or location where the visa above was issued ?- YES

becz... my previous visa approved in CANADA and i am filling ds160 to go to the same place

 

2) and is this country or location your place of principal of residence? -NO

CANADA is not my residence at all. I am from india staying in usa.

 

They combined two question in to one. and ask me to put either YES or NO.

 

Please suggest

There is an "and" in between the two sentences. Only if you meet both criteria then you answer yes. Otherwise your answer is no.

Pandu, can you post your experience, I am planning to visit for my stamping again at Ottawa, I have got my last H1B stamped from there and I am now going again, same employer.
