can i have 2 ead ( based on my 485) and cos from h1 to h4

Had a couple of questions-

1. Can  I use my EAD ( 485 based ) while my h1 to h4 is pending since I lost my job

2. Can I continue working on my ead  ( since i found an employer ready to hire me on ead not h1) even when my h4 is approved. Say It is approved after may 26th 2015. And then also apply for h4 based EAD.

3. Can I have 2 ead's ( one based on my 485 and other based on h4).

4. Can I be added to my wife's 485 when I am on ead and her date becomes current ( she is eb-2 i am eb-3)

How long has your I-485 been pending?

Why are you making things complicated?

Why don't you just find a new job? You don't need an H1 or H4 at all.

Thanks for the reply. H1 to h4 will give me unrestricted ead. My ead based on my 485 only allows me to work in same-similar jobs.

Hmm, the EAD based on the I-485 is also unrestricted.

The only restricted EAD is the one for OPT.

For the I-485, you of course need to have a job lined up in your field.
