michael1984
I am currently outside of the US working for non-US based employer A. I am participating in the h1b lottery for this year for a US-based employer B. Never had any kind of US working Visa before. My current employer A asked me to make a business trip to the US in the next weeks. Employer B lawyers recommended to refrain from visiting the US while waiting for h1b since immigration might suspect I come to work for B and deny me entry (which will be bad for my current working relationship with A). Is it a real risk? I will come with flight / hotel tickets to show I intend to come back. I have done multiple business trips to the US before. Link to comment
JoeF
It will be a few weeks before the lottery is even conducted. There shouldn't be any problem. Link to comment
