Education req for GC ad

Hi,

 

I have bachelors degree with 3 yrs of exp in IT industry. My employer(direct client) is planning to apply GC for me. They said they cannot post education requirement as "Masters degree"  since my position requires only Bachelors degree.

 

I am thinking of asking my company attorney to post ad like "Bachelors or Higher degree required" instead of "Masters degree required".  My manager is fine with this process, but he need a confirmation from Attorney to check whether it is an issue or not.

 

If they post ad like "Bachelors or Higher degree required"; Am I eligible under EB2 category since I have Master's degree.

The minimum requirement counts. The company can not change the minimum requirement to accomodate you.

The minimum requirement in"Bachelor or higher" is bachelor, so the case will be EB3.
