texasearcher
If my i-140 gets denied, does it affect my future j1 visa or f1 visa ?? similarly if i140 gets approved and i485 gets denied ..does that affect j1 or f1 visa? Link to comment
pontevecchio
1. It may affect you unless you have admission to very well known Institutions. 2. Extremely unlikely for AOS to be denied in the absence of fraud. Link to comment
JoeF
Once an I-140 is FILED, it is pretty much impossible to get an F1 or J1, because there is a question on the forms, has an immigrant petition EVER been filed for you. The I-140 is an immigrant petition. F1 and J1 don't allow immigration intent. With an I-140 filed, you have shown immigration intent. Link to comment
