i140 approved - company subsidiary transfer

Hi All -

 

I have an i140 approved with PD of July 2014 filed in EB2. I work for Company A. There is a talk that Company A will become a subsidiary of Company B. 

 

The question is - If I move from Company A to company B (similar role) now (before the acquisition), and company A eventually becomes a subsidiary of company B does it mean that I need to refile PERM?

 

From my research, I have been told that changes within the same company shouldn't affect your GC as along as your job responsibilities remain the same.
