Urgent! Multiple Queries

Hi All,

 

I have a situation here which need an urgent resolution -

 

My H1-B Visa is already expired last year and I am on I-94 till last quarter of 2015. My current employer is filling an extension for me but here is another situation. My passport is going to be expired in next couple of months of 2015.

 

Can anyone analysis this situation and guide me?

Also, what all consequences shall I be ready for in future as my passport is showing expired H1-B Visa. Though, my I-94 is valid for me and I-979 have date till last quarter of 2015.

date of I-94 is what counts. No issue with passport so just apply for new new passport with consulate office that has jurisdiction over your area( state of residence).
