Multiple H1B Visas

Hello , 

 

I have already searched for this topic in the forums and found contradicting answers. So would like to get a clarity. I am currently working as a FTE for Company A on L1 Visa. They have filed for an H1B in 2014 but didnt get through the lottery. They are filing again this time for H1B-2015.

 

I have got a full time offer with Company B yesterday and willing to sponsor H1B as well. So my questions are:

 

1) Should i intimate Company B that I have an existing H1B Application with Company A

2) Would the two H1B application treated as two different entities thus increasing the chance of selection in lottery.

Multiple H1 applications do not increase the chances.
