H1 transfer & change of status to B2(visitor visa) - Urgent

Hi All,

 

I am thinking to file the change of status to visitor(B2 visa) tomorrow & on Monday my employer is filing the transfer of my H1B( already we got LCA approved)

 

Question : Do i need to apply for change of status(visitor B2 visa) or i just need to continue transfer of H1B with my employer ?

What is your current status now? If it is a day I would not file a COS to B2 as employer is filing a H1B petition on Monday.

I am on h1B & got laid-off on Tuesday this week. My employer already got LCA & he is filing H1B on coming Tuesday.

 

Sorry i am really getting confused whether to apply for B2 COS as my employer says that it has 2-3 days difference so no need to apply for COS to B2 ?

 

Please suggest  ASAP ?

You might be fine. Just relax and let employer file your H1B petition.
