RFE response time

Got RFE on my H1B extension. [This is my first H1 extension]

Documents submitted to USCIS on 27th Dec 2014.

As per USCIS web site I should receive a decision or case update by February 27, 2015 but as of today no update yet. Is it normal for USCIS to take longer time? With the same documented submitted as I am, one of my colleague got approval notice on Jan 15th.

Also in  my account in USCIS, last updated column of my receipt number says 27th Dec 2014. Does this mean, USCIS not worked on my case since I responded to RFE? Please let me know your thoughts.

Dear Members - Can someone please help clear my dilemma? My case status as on date is as below

"On January 16, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. Our Vermont Service Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by March 17, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed."

However, today is 30th March and the status still hasn't changed. Is this an indication of denial? Would it help if I go for a case inquiry? Please suggest.

Cannot speculate anything. Your employer or attorney has to contact USCIS.
