chenx11
Hello everyone. Thanks in advance for all of your help! I currently hold a cap-exempt H1B status with a non-profit organization, valid through mid-July, 2015. I also have a valid H1B visa stamp on my passport (expires in mid-July). I got a new job with a for-profit company and they are going to file a cap-subject H1B petition on my behalf on April 1st this year. My current employer is planning to send me abroad for a week from late March to early April, which coincides with the new H1B filing. Would it be okay for me to travel? Link to comment
jairichi
Yes. But, to move to new employer from Oct 1st you need to exit and enter with a valid H1B visa and I797. Link to comment
