100% working remotely for client situated in in state x while physically living in state y

Am I breaking any rules? Both the states are with in the United States.

Employer is in NJ, client is in TN. I'm living in GA and working 100%remotely.

I was onsite in TN for two months.

Is this not allowed for H1B holders?

It is allowed, but you have to get paid the prevailing wage in the area where you work, i.e., your real location.
