menken
I got a case status update from USCIS that the case is transferred to another USCIS office and the new office has jurisdiction over your case. I googled to see what this message means and I found that some I-485 cases have this type of update but not I-140s. Has anyone got similar update. Could you share your experiences. My case is EB3-EB2 porting. Thanks. ------------------- On February 17, 2015, we transferred your Form I140, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. ------------------- Link to comment
romanb4u
Hello, When did you file for I 140 and after how many months you got this update from USCIS. I got similar update when I tried to upgrade my regular processing into premium. So wanted to understand your situation. Let me know. Link to comment
menken
Filed under regular processing. USCIS received date, December 30th, 2014. First update on Feb 5th that the case transferred to local office for additional processing and another update on Feb 17th that the case transferred to another USCIS office. I never received the transfer notice. Were you able to find from your attorney what the message means? Link to comment
romanb4u
My attorney mentioned it was a security check and it could take 3 months to 6 years. besides that my attorney is not revealing anything else. I dont have I 140 receipt either. Now I am screwed. Any status update from your end? Link to comment
