Visa4me_dada
Hi I am currently in my L1b for Company A. My Visa/petition Expired Dec 2013. My I94 Expiring Mar 10 2015.Currently My Company A has applied for L1b Extension. I got a RFE for it Feb 4 2015. How long will get time to respond to RFE? What are the Chance of getting approved? I have a H1b Petition that has expired 5 years back with Company A? Can renew it with another Company B? Assume that I start the process after my I94 date(Mar 10). Can a continue to stay in US and work for CompanyB once the Change of status is applied? Thanks in advance for your help. Link to comment

No one knows the approval chances, it depends on how your respond to the RFE. Link to comment
Visa4me_dada
Thanks for your response. Let me clarify my question. My situation: My Visa/petition Expired Dec 2013. My I94 Expiring Mar 10 2015. Currently My Company A has applied for L1b Extension. I got a RFE for it Feb 4 2015. I have a H1b Petition that has expired 5 years back with Company A. I was in H1B Visa in USA from Mar 2008 to May 2009. My Question: Can renew it with another Company B with a Cap excemt? Assume that I start the process after my I94 date(Mar 10). Can I continue to stay in US and work for CompanyB once the Change of status is applied? What is the maximium period that I have a chance to get in H1B Petition? Thanks in advance for your help.
