URGENT: Summons for employment contract breach

I have received summons from previous employer for breaching the contract. They are not mentioned any specific amount to claim , but profit lost and other expenses. I checked with Attorneys, they are suggesting it is going to be expensive for me to fight the case. I spoke with DOL , since this is employment contract related issue they do not entertain.

 

Please suggest what are the other option left to me to get rid of this issue.

If they win the case, how they collect money from me, since I do not have any savings in Bank.

If you signed the contract, you are held to it.

Why do you think you can just break a contract?

I believe you are earning and the court knows how to get the money from you. And, your credit rating will be massively affected.

You should have contact an attorney immediately after the  breach, its late now.

Contact that employer and negotiate a deal to withdraw the case.
