Bi visa rejected when H1 visa is in progress

Hi,

 

Can some one please help me on this.. 

I have applied for H1 visa for the year 2014 March with the help of some consultancies and now the status of my case is RFE response review.  the problem here is my B1 visa got rejected in india which is applied by my current company. 

 

Will this affects my H1 visa approval. Please let me know.. I will be much obliged to you..

Can you explain "with the help of some consultancies"??

That's probably why the H1 got an RFE. Going with shady consulting companies is always a bad idea, and results in RFEs.

 

And given that you seem to have signed up with some shady consulting company just to be able to get to the US, it is not much of a surprise that a B1 would get rejected. A B1 doesn't allow immigration intent, but being so desperate to get to the US that you signed up with some shady consulting company shows that you may have immigration intent.

Next time, find a real employer, not some consulting company.
