hipa
Hi, My I-140 was filed by company A and was valid till Sept 2016. I got an offer from company B and I transferred my H1b to company B. My new I-1797 approval notice was valid till Aug 2017. Recently I got an offer from company C and I initiated the H1b transfer from B to C. Company C I-797 approval notice is only valid till May 2016. All 3 are employer-employee relationship. The USCIS online case status shows that my I-140 is not revoked. My question why is the visa validity of company C May 2016 as opposed to Oct 2017. Thanks. Link to comment

Sometimes USCIS officers approves the petition for one year without any reason. If everything is fine from your end then contact your attorney and find it out. Link to comment
