My wife got her H1 last year and have been working since them. She converted from H4 to H1. 1) My wife who converted from H4 to H1, can she attend the visa stamping in ottawa Canada. We already booked an appointment in ottawa canada on 19th November. Link to comment

I heard that first time H1B stamping for H4 holder to H1B visa cannot be done from canada. They need to visit home country.. Please comment. Link to comment

But, US consulate in Canada entertains applications from TCNs. Link to comment

She was asked 3 questions for about 30 seconds.. Employer, end client and from when. After that the officer said those sweet words. For me, the officer asked me about my company, what i do there, how long i have been with them, what do they do, how i got to the company and for may be less than 2 mins. visa approved. Finally got my passport the very next day. But i am still waiting for my wife's passport. Waiting to hear from the courier.. Link to comment
