EB3 to EB2

My company filed Green Card for me in EB3 category. My labor is approved and the priority date is 10-may-2011.
 

I have Bachelors in Computer Science (4 yrs). I joined the current company in October-2008 and I have 4 years of experience prior to this. 

 

It has been 6 years that I joined the company and I got 1 promotion and very good performance ratings during the tenure.
 

I internally moved teams with different job profiles about 1 year back.
 

My query is "Am i eligible to convert  my  GC to EB2 category based on my experience in the company and the previous experience?"

It's possible, but challenging (not impossible) with the same employer as the job duties for possible EB2 should be at least 50% or more different than EB3 job duties.
