Unable to retrieve DS 160 form

Hello,

 

I reserved slot for my H1 b Visa interview for 1 st week of November on Sep 22nd.I partially filled DS 160 to reserve the appointment. I'm trying to retrieve my DS 160  now using application number and security questions.. It throws error saying surname and year of birth doesn't match. Since I initially filled my Ds 160 on sep 22nd,so Is my Ds 160 expired? ( 30 day period for DS 160)

Contact the customer service. They should be able to retrieve it for you.

I contacted  embassy via email.They replied saying you can fill a new DS 160 form and it is not going to affect your appointment and fee paid. Appointment page (ais.usvisa-info.com) doesn't allow me to edit the old DS 160 number with the new one.  

 

Does the DS 160 number on the appointment page and new DS160 number has to be the same?????

Recently we faced same issue,when we contacted the embassy via phone they mentioned "Please Cancel your appointment and make a new one with the new DS-160 number". But I got the same reply as you mentioned via mail.When I checked some posts they mentioned it's not a big Issue but we need to stay little bit longer in Jamaica. So, we canceled and got the same slot.
