I immigrated along with my family in 2001 and my dad had got an H1 visa and we all are his dependants. Our green card is still pending and I am 26 years old now and out of USA under Advance Parole. I got married in Canada last year and now its not working out and I am looking at a divorce. I want to somehow resume my status and renuite with my family in the U.S. I had called USCIS and they told me its possible but I have heard that it isnt due to the legal terms of the Child Protection Act.
