H1B approved....and change of clients....before start date of H1B (Oct 1)

Hello All,

 

 

This is my first H1B approval..

 

H1b petition approved ---------------------> from client A (April 2014)..location X

 

Currently working---------------------------> @ Client B ....LOCATION Y.... from past 3 months

 

Do my employer need to file a new LCA before October 1 2014 or he should have already filed a new LCA back in june. ( My H1b starts from October 1st)

 

how about H1b amendment?

 

Do my employer need to file LCA each time i change client locations ? 

 

As I am changing to new client locations when ever my project ends...whats the best scenario if I am going to H1b stamping next year? please explain.

 

If I am moving from state to state every 6 months...do i need to update my car plates and Drivers licence and address or is it OK to maintain at current location will it have any effect during my H1b stamping interview. 

 

Please explain.

Your employer has to update LCA and file H1B amendment. Better to do it after 1st Oct.

For each client change, your employer should file LCA + H1b amendment. For license and registration, you need to follow that state DMV's rules.

Find full time job or file amendment whenever you change the client.
