My wife in India now (EAD/AP visa)- Green Card got approved

Hello experts,

 

This is my scenario. 

I am the primary applicant and my wife is a dependent.  Our green card got approved this week (applied in 2003 Nov). But wife (only) is on a vacation in India and will return Aug 23. I haven't received the Green Card either (its in card production stage now). Rest of the family is in US now including me (primary applicant). 

 

Will she be able to pass through immigration with Advance Parole, do I need to anticipate any issues?

 

Please reply, your expert advice is greatly appreciated.

She can board the plane with AP, and would have to advise the officer at the POE that her GC was approved while she was abroad.

This happens all the time, it is nothing unusual. She would likely get deferred inspection.
