kumar.kv
Hi all,I changed my job in May and my new employer initiated a H1B transfer on 5/29/14, regular processing with Vermont. I have a VALID visa stamp until Jan 2015. The client decided to terminate all contractors due to budgetary reasons and I am one of the victims. I was given no notice and was terminated from the client site on 8/8/14.My H1B case status still says 'Initial Review'. I checked with my employer and they are going to VOID my transfer petition per law.Has anybody come across a situation like this? Can I search for a new job without an approval notice? Please let me know what my options are? Thank you. Link to comment
jairichi
What does your employer say? Either apply for a COS to B2 or H4 asap. This will help you to look for a job and secure one. If approved without an I94 just exit and enter with a valid H1B visa and new I797. Link to comment
rahul412
It looks like you are currently out of status. File COS to B2 ASAP and find another employer. Link to comment
