anynemous
Hi,My friend is currently working on H1B and his employer given him 2 weeks notice to leave the job,Now he is searching for a job, but if he did not get any job within 2 weeks, then he has to move to H4. Can he move from H4 to H1 later? if yes, then again he have to apply for H1B in next year H1B quota? or he can use the existing H1B. Please let me know on the same and any other option available for him.Thanks. Link to comment
jairichi
Yes, he can do so. As long as he has not completed his 6 years of max allowed stay in US on H1B then he is cap exempt. Link to comment
