Full Time Transfer Before H1 Starts in October

Hi,

 

I am on OPT and I got H1 Approved from October this year with my current employer. I am working for a client in California and they are asking me to join full time.

 

So If I want to join full time:

 

(1) Can I transfer without H1 starting

(2) After H1 starts when can I transfer

 

Is it good idea or bad decision to change before H1 starts.

After H1B stats (oct 1st), after how many days I can transfer my H1B in a good scenario

You can do it on Oct 2nd.
