I made a mistake while filling DS160 form in place "Were you previously Employed", i opted for "no",but i did changed my employer in my OPT Status!!

Do i need to correct my DS160 form to reflect my old employer name and address?

I paid my MRV Fees and booked slot with my DS160 confirmation number!! so if in case if if i change the DS160,do i need to pay MRV Fees again and book a new slot?

FYI- i fllled my DS160 just a week ago..

Please advise me!!

You can edit your DS-160 form before the visa appointment date and no need to pay the MRV fee again.

How do i need to update appointment after changing the DS-160 form.

kind of confusing,if i try to edit the submitted DS-160, the confirmation number will change and this confirmation number is related to my appointment so my appointment will also change right!!

Please advise me!!

You can carry it to the OFC appointment, there they will use this new form number and update the records accordingly.Due to some errors or other, there are many applicants  are asked to fill up a new form and resubmit , and it is accomodated on the same day . They simply scan this barcode and put a new sticker on your passport. No need to reschedule the appointment, go as planned.

BTW this was in India-Chennai.

You can submit new DS-160 form with same visa interview application & update DS160 confirmation No. in your interview detail.

* Login to CSC website where you are going to appear for visa interview. (e.g. Jamaica, Mumbai or Chennai)

* Once you login it shows your Applicant Summary

* Under "Application Information" section next to your name there is [Edit] link. Click it

* At very bottom you can edit your phone no, e-mail and "DS-160 Confirmation number"

* Update your new DS-160 confirmation number & submit it.
