Is RFE same as NOID ?

Hi all 

 

 

              wanted to know that does USCIS differentiate RFE & NOID status on website. i  have received RFE for my recent H1 B Extension & it shows as RFE. so wanted to conform that if it's NOID than it should noted as NOID instead of RFE.

RFE - Request for further evidence and NOID - Notice of Intent to deny

 

RFE generally issued if initial evidence submitted reveal that there are some missing evidence (more specific piece of evidence is missing) to approve the petition. Depending the response to RFE the petition may also be denied.

 

NOID generally issued if initial evidence submitted reveal that the petition deserves to be denied however it can be cured if sufficient evidences are included to show eligibility.
