Help in filling DS-160 for H-1B

I have few questions while filling DS-160 for H1B stamping. This is my 1st extension and starts from Oct 1, 2014. Current H1 expires on Sep 30, 2014. Ideally can I go for stamping before Sep 30, 2014 with H1 Extn?

 

1. Have you made specific travel plans? Yes/No.

 

    If NO - what should be Intended date of travel? - Is it H1 Extn start date

 

               What should be Intended length of stay? - Is it the whole duration of H1 Extn.?

 

2. Person/Entity paying for trip? - Is it self/US Petitioner/Other Company/Other person ?

Yes, you can.

1. When would you like to travel back to US after stamping? The length of stay can be the date till which your petition was approved.

2. If you are paying for your trip the answer is SELF.

Thanks for the reply. Say if I go for stamping to Canada, I would travel back to US after stamping is done. But I may go for stamping before sept 30, 2014.
