gmal86
Hi, I recently transferred my H1B visa from employer A to employer B. My spouse's H4 petition could not be filed with mine as she was in India. Now I intend to visit India and get my new H1 stamped while my wife's H4 will still show my old employer. We will travel together back to US. Will there be a problem at port of entry if I have H1 stamped through my new employer while her H4 still shows my old employer? She has traveled before to US after my H1 transfer using my latest I-797 copy and her existing H4 visa. Is there any difference if we travel together and I have a new visa stamped and she still uses her old visa? Thank you in advance. Link to comment
jairichi
No issue at all. You need to show your latest I797 at POE. Link to comment

I recently changed my employer and started working. My wife went to india and have valid H4 visa till next year 2015. Is she required to stamp with my new employer ? or she can travel with existing h4 with old employer , latest approval notice. What happened to your case as your side you spouse traveled with her old H4 and did she face any issues while port of entry ? Please suggest. Link to comment
