CPT during university recess time

in fall 2013, I joined in masters in computer science in a public university.  For the summer 2014 semester I am authorized for CPT, and registered independent study on mobile technology and submitted the paper and have the exam due on Aug 1st for the same. My CPT authorization ends in Aug 11 which is the end of summer semester. My fall classes stats on Aug 27.

 

The company where I am doing the CPT is a government client and they want me to work  between aug 12-aug 27.  My question is  it legal to work, my DSO is out of school for 1 week, I asked my advisor, he is not sure about this. Anyway I will be working only after I get authorization, just wanted to make sure F1 rules allows to work during university recess.

CPT is for work as integral part of the curriculum only. As such, it is not for work during summer.

There is pre-completion OPT for work during summer recess.

When your authorization ends by 11th August how can you work beyond that? You cannot.
