Presently I am on F1 and my H1 will start on Oct 1st 2014. My wife got her h4 visa stamping in India,

My question is:

 

When she can Travel to USA before my H1 starts on Oct 1st?

Is it possible she can enter to usa 30 to 45 days before  my h1 starts on oct?

She can not travel on H4 before your H1 kicks in.

She can travel only when your H1B status becomes valid and not before that.

Thanks for your replies, But My attorney said that she can travel before 10 days prior to h1 starts. Some of the blogs mentioned she can also travel before 30 days is that true?

30 days - no way.

Once you had your Lawyers take why are you second guessing him? She can enter up to 10 days before your start.

The H1 person can travel up to 10 days before the H1 starts. So, a dependent can travel at the same time as the H1 person or later.

There is no 30-day rule.
