H1-B Visa Stamping in Jamaica & Passport Collection

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could shed light on the passport collection process post visa stamping in Jamaica. Specifically, has anyone had any experience with the DHL pick up service in Montego Bay? We are planning to make a vacation trip to Jamaica and get our H1-B visas stamped (both my wife and myself) while we are there.

I've read about people collecting their passports at the Embassy itself (the ones who received the red token) instead of collecting it at the DHL office in Kingston. But I've not come across anyone collecting their passports at the Montego Bay DHL office.

 

Any information on the DHL service - its reliability, additional time required etc. would be of great help.

From what i heard from the VO during my stamping it's gonna take 8-12 days
