Went to Canadian Border by mistake. Effect on Green card

Recommended Posts

Recently while coming back from Niagara falls along with my spouse & my parents the GPS messed up and I ended up being in Canadian border by mistake. At Canadian border when I informed them about this mistake, the officer gave us a Rejection to Entry notice to Canada with reason mentioned as 'Wrong Turn' and asked us to turn back to the US. At US border, we submitted the Notice and the officer checked our Legal status (H-IB for me, H4 for my wife, Visitor Visa for my parents) in the immigration office and let us come back.

Can you please advice whether this incident will impact in any way in my green card process (about to start in recent future)?

Will not be an issue.
