sriram194
Hi I have a doubt. Am currently on F-1 OPT Visa, employed by a consulting firm. They had applied for my H1-B and it got approved and will be effective from this October. In this time period, Can a new company hire me and initiate a H-1B transfer? Some companies say they can do and some say they need one or two month H1B pay stubs to transfer. Can you please let me know whether Can i join a new company or not? Thanks a lot!!! Link to comment

Yes, a new employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition. No requirement of H1B pay stubs. Link to comment
