Employer A - GC Labor Approved ,Need to file I140. Got offer from Employer B

Recommended Posts

Dear Forum Members,

I am currently with employer A and my perm labor got approved recently and waiting to apply for I-140. Also have a full time offer from Employer B.

If I file my I-140 with employer A ( premium) , once its approved can I switch to employer B immediately and still retain the Priority Date.

I have read in some forums that if your I-140 is approved with Current Employer ( Employer A), you need to atleast stay for 6-12 months with the current employer ( Employer A)  and then make the switch to Employer B in order to retain your priority date.

Please help!
