Employer change post H1B approval

Hi,

 

   I am currently on F-1 student visa OPT and I got my H-1B approved under my current employer starting from Oct.1st. If I get a new employment offer, am I eligible for H-1B transfer or do I have to wait till my H-1B becomes valid. Please let me know about this as I have to respond to those offers.

They can file at any time.  You may have contractual obligations to your current employer.

You can transfer once your initial H1 is approved.
