Changing Work Location with the current employer after PERM/I-140 Approval

Can one work with PERM/I-140 approval in a different state but with the same company.  Or new PERM will have to be filed for the new location.

I140 approval is for a future specific job. In the meantime you can work in say H1 status anywhere. Talk to your company.

Thanks.  Can one work at a different location after I-140 is approved. I had to leave the country as my H1B expired and PERM got delayed.  Recently PERM got approved and my company is in the process of filing I-140 but they likely don't have an open position at the same location for which they had filed PERM.
