PositiveThinking
Yes H1 B Amendment is necessary before going for stamping. You got your 3 year extension when you were working client A. You need to update your H1 B petition with Client B . I was in the same situation as yours and filed my Amendment so I could go for stamping. Link to comment

deepu_sree
Hi folks, I have a similar situation - but I'm eligible for the drop box option. Is it still mandatory that my amendment is done before I go for the drop box option? Link to comment

deepu_sree
Sorry I forgot to clarify previously - but am working with a consultant company and I have stayed with the same company for over 2 yrs now. My previous stamping also was with the same employer [consulting company]. Currently only my end client has changed. Your thoughts please. Link to comment
