KrishCartman
I got RFE on taxes for H1B applied this year. I'm working from home in Texas and my client is in Georgia .My employer deducted Georgia State taxes from my Payroll, doing that since 2012. So in RFE, they mentioned"Why the beneficiary would be paying Georgia State Taxes if he lives and works in Texas"Last 2 years, while filing tax returns i paid Texas Taxes. What are the possible answers that my employer can tell to USCIS and is that a big problem? What are the chances of getting an approval? Link to comment

JoeF
The employer has to work with his lawyer on this. There is nothing you can do. And you can't advise the employer on this, either. Or are you a tax specialist? Link to comment
