Successful Stamping in Ottawa, Canada on May 9th, 2014

Ok its time to pay back to community. 

Stamping: May 9th 9:30 AM



9:00 AM: Went early and front desk guard requested to come back later exactly 30 minutes.

9:15 AM: Wished front desk "Happy Lady" and showed my appointment, I797 and Passport.

9:30 AM: Checked in at counter 7. Provided Passport and I797.

9:50 AM: Provided finger prints at counter 6.

10:30 AM: Called in for interview at counter 2.

Four questions:

1) What is your job?

2) Have you worked with any other company?

3) Do you have Masters?

4) Do you have any job before Masters?

10:35 AM: Visa officer approved my visa.

11:00 AM: Reached home.



5:50 PM: Received an email that loomis picked up my passport



8:00 AM: Picked up my passport.



No need to catch cabs. Canada is very good at public transportation.

I stayed in Days Inn (not best but cheap compared to other motels)

Buses to catch

97 - To and fro from Airport

95 and 121 - To Loomis Express. 95 is very frequent and 121 is for every 30 minutes.

Feel free to buy one day pass and ride along.

Canada is almost same as USA.

Restaurants are expensive.

Metro and other super markets are close by so feel free to grab some good stuff instead of eating junk.
