H1 B / H4 stamping in Calgary on May 29th 2014

Hello, 

 

Earlier we had booked Ottawa consulate & were planning to go by road. After reviewing the driving distance and Car insurance we decided to drop Ottawa. 

 

We have an appointment booked in Calgary on May 29th 2014 @ 8 am . Flying to Calgary on 27th May.

 

Anyone who had been can let us know if there is a cheaper accommodation in Calgary. Hotels near downtown seem to be expensive. 

 

How many business days would it take to get the passport back once the visa is approved? If anyone can let us know there experience that would be great.

Me (H1B) and my wife (H4) went to Vancouver Canada on April 09 2014. Please see below link for experience. I guess you can expect something similar in your case also.
