L1 Visa Stamping in home country while you work in another country

Hello,

I have a query regarding L1 Visa stamping. I am an Indian citizen and work
for a multinational organization in the Philippines, on an employment visa
in the Philippines. This organization will be filing for my L1 visa to
travel to the US on client work.

Since I will be travelling to my home country India for a few weeks, can I
get my L1 visa stamping in India in any of the consulates (although I work
in the Philippines)? Also can my wife and children get their L2 stamping
done in India as well?

Does stamping in India (as opposed to the US consulate in the Philippines)
reduce the chances of approval in any way? Awaiting your quick response
based on which I will plan my travel.

Thank you!!

Vaidh

Yes, you have all right to apply for a L1 and L2 visa at an US consulate in home country. All US consulates are same as they follow set procedures.
