My question is, is there any chance I can go for stamping before oct 1st ? why, I'm asking is we go for student visa stamping in india from 3 months of master's start date. Link to comment

Yes, you can go for H1B stamping not more than 90 days before H1B start date and you cannot enter not more than 10 days earlier on H1B visa before your H1B start date. Link to comment
t75 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Share Posted May 11, 2014 Since you qualify for cap-gap, you can work even after your OPT is over. If you received an I-94 with your approval, you do not need stamping to be on H1B. Given the situation, travel is not advised unless absolutely necessary to exit the US. Link to comment
