Gap between Extended I797A and Expiring I797A

I got my H1B extension approved. In the new approval notice (I797A) & I94, the start date is 26th April, 2014 whereas my previous approval notice (I797A) & I94 was expiring on 4th April, 2014. So there is a gap in between. 

 

The receipt date was March 14, 2014 and application was done in premium mode.

 

Is any action required to correct this? Is it going to create any issue later on in case of visa stamping or next H1 extension?

 

If  I require a VISA stamping (in case I go to India on vacation), will it create any problem during stamping?

Ask your employer/attorney to contact USCIS and get this issue sorted out.
