JahnaviV
Hi I got an RFE for my H1-B It says the job description is not persuasive in establishing that the position qualifies for H1b. They asked for few documents and evidences like: - explain the duties and responsibilites -indicate % of time devoted -state educational requirements for the duties -explain how my education relates to position Also to provide evidence that the company has sufficient level of h1b level work. What are my chances.. My job title is "Jr Developer" and i do lot more than the job descripition submitted while applying for h1b Will the detailed description of all my duties, explaining how they relate to my education work? rahul412
It all depends on your H1 job duties and your educational BG. Ask your employer about this. Link to comment
t75
In the US, many programmers at the low level have associates or vocational degrees or no degree at all. These do not qualify for H1B. Link to comment
JahnaviV
so will the documentation showing them my duties help to prove that i qualify for speciality occupation? Link to comment
t75
The formal job description should reflect your duties. IF you are doing more, they need to promote you to the correct position and file for that. Link to comment
