H4-visa holder with Pending H1B Application: Should I travel to India?

I am currently on H4 visa and my application for H1 is under initial review for this year. I want to travel India before August and come back. Do you suggest that I should travel? If yes in what time frame i should make a trip so as not to hamper my H1b processing.

Nothing will create issues with your H1B processing. If you travel before approval then your COS part gets abandoned and so you would need to go for H1B stamping to start working from 1st Oct.

Hi capreeas, I am in similar situation and have travel plans in MAY this year with pending H1b application. 

What do you suggest? Have you consulted anyone for this? Please reply asap.
