H1B - extension after 8+ years with previous employer’s approved I-140…

Hey,

 

I worked with company A for six years in H1B and I transferred my H1B to company B and I got three years extension based on company A’s approved I-140.. Now I completed around 8+ years in H1B and planning to apply for H1B extension. Company B didn’t start my GC labor process but they are saying we can get H1B extension based on company A’s approved I-140. Can you please let me know if that is possible?

Yes that's possible. But make sure that your I140 is not revoked by A.

Yes, as long as I-140 is not revoked you can get 3 year extensions.
