Question about OPT Start date

Hello,

I have applied for OPT and my application is in initial review.

In my i20 the OPT start date is mentioned as Feb 28th. 

I have a job starting from June 2nd.

When my OPT gets approved, what will be the actual start date of my OPT ? 

 

Will it be the date my OPT gets approved or will be Feb 28th ?

It will be date mentioned on your I20.
